Experience the gorgeous fall colors of the Chippewa Valley like never before! On this tour, you’ll enjoy the scenic ride on our vintage-inspired trolley to three stunning countryside destinations to see how local families are proudly carrying on the tradition of Wisconsin farming.

You’ll discover:

  • Dozens of adorable animals at Outlaw Farms
  • Modern homesteading ideas from Jackson Family Farms
  • Dixon’s world-famous Champagne apple
  • How the Connell family orchard has stayed in business for 167 years straight
  • And much more!

You’ll also get samples at each farm and the option to stock up on fruits, treats, and locally made crafts.

The Jackson Family Farm. The Jackson family has been on the farm since 1938. They raise grass-fed beef cattle using intensive rotational grazing methods that are both sustainable for the land and good for the animals. During your time here, Jessica will give you a tour of the space, share tips and tricks to modern homesteading and living off the land like our grandparents and great-grandparents used to, and provide some samples of beef sticks and beef tallow products!

Outlaw Farms is a family-run petting farm that’s been in business since 2007. They have a huge variety of animals, from mini goats to emus to camels and more! Plus a sweet farm store carrying locally sourced maple syrups, seasonal products, and other locally made items.

The Apple Hangar at Dixon’s Autumn Harvest Winery. Dixon’s began growing apples in Wisconsin in 2015 and launched their first harvest in 2019. They’re the home of the world-famous Champagne apple, a variety first discovered and grown by Fred Dixon. This unique, sweet and spicy variety is ONLY available at Dixon’s! They also grow delicious Zestars, Macoun, McIntosh and Honeycrisp apples. You’ll get to try their cider and apples, and get a free ½ peck bag of apples to take home with you!

Connell’s Family Orchard. The name says it all: The Connell family has been on this land and running the orchard since 1858. At this stop you’ll get a tour of the farm and the option to pick your own apples OR you can enjoy an apple donut and cider from their bakery. Plus, you’ll have time to browse their beautiful gift shop.

So come, experience firsthand the sights and aromas of acres of autumn splendor. But keep in mind: winter is coming, so this will be a limited run of tours with VERY limited seating! Reserve your seats today!

TOUR ITEM STORAGE: The trolley will be equipped with enclosed rear storage for all your fruits and/or other treats to be safely transported between stops.
