Discover the many fantastic local breweries the Chippewa Valley has to offer with one of our fun (and tasty!) brewery tours. Our region has been brewing beer since way back in the 1850s. And what started with thirsty lumberjacks (and a truly staggering amount of saloons) has evolved into a beer scene with a focus on keen craftsmanship and a flavor for every beer-drinker. On these tours you’ll learn a bit about that history, as well as the stories of the contemporary breweries you’ll visit today.
On this Northern Valley Edition of our Brewery Tour, you’ll enjoy a trolley ride around town and through the scenic countryside to the Leinie Lodge in Chippewa Falls, then Chippewa Brewing Co in Chippewa Falls, and Lazy Monk along the Chippewa River in Eau Claire.
At each brewery patrons will receive a short talk or tour from the staff and enjoy an included glass of beer. This tour is 21+ only, and lasts approximately 3.5 hours.
Depending on weather, be prepared for the trolley to be set up enclosed with sliding windows, or open-air with brass railings (and roll down curtains in case of rain). Appropriate clothing layers for heat/humidity, or cool breezes, is a good idea.
Gratuities are NOT included, so please consider bringing some cash to tip your hardworking service providers. Thank you!
