A totally NEW CONCEPT theatrical murder mystery tour featuring historically accurate fiction crafted around classic and vintage Eau Claire characters!

You’re along for the adventure with a scrappy aspiring detective when this seemingly normal 1920s tour turns torrid! It’s prohibition-era Eau Claire when rubber moguls are on the rise and lumber barons are on the ropes, but suddenly… we’ve got a scandalous murder!? That’s right folks — its history meets homicide! There’s a killer on the loose with clues scattered across the city and our trolley is in hot pursuit. Is it business-gone-bad? Has the mob settled here in Eau Claire? Who could have done this, and why?

Only one tour has the whole story and it’s boarding now! Step onto the trolley and be a part of solving the mystery aboard this roving theater on wheels that’s one part tour, one part escape room, and all parts light-hearted and campy fun. See the shadowy side of early 1900’s Eau Claire through real and significant (secret!) spaces of the era and have a laugh as you and your tour guide try to crack the case.

Get yourself loose and ready for fun, as each rider gets to be part of the action (or optionally not!) with a character of the era and tiny part in the plot. So come as you are or come in your best 1920s garb, either way you’ll be in for the fun on Bootleggers, Barons, & Bloodshed!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & CONTENT WARNINGS: This show is for ages 13+ only and requires parental guidance for themes and language. The tour lasts approximately 65 minutes and involves boarding and disembarking three times for moments off the trolley, including some minor stair climbs, so be prepared to step quick and wear layers for changing indoor/outdoor environments. Theatrical effects including lighting, sound, and fog are deployed as a part of the action. Much or all of the tour is after dark, so for periods off the trolley red flashlights are provided, please do not bring your own.
